The herd can never understand the lone goat and the lone goat can never understand the herd.

The herd's core emotion is a sense of security in numbers and the lone goat's sanity is in not being suffocated in the herd but walk alone, breathing fresh air. The herd thinks the lone goat
is crazy and the lone goat thinks the herd is crazy. The herd can kill the lone goat easily for daring to walk alone. The lone goat will never kill the herd. It might at the best try and make the herd see the point it is missing. After which, the lone goat is comfortable to walk away and alone.
